Help us celebrate your students and TRIO program at the 2017 conference banquet! Any Indiana TRIO professional can upload photos of their students or staff to be shared as part of the slideshow at this year's conference banquet. Click HERE to access a shared Google folder.


Request for Proposals (RFP):

The intent of the RFP is to identify and select presenters who will provide TRIO professionals and supporters with insight and information conducive to professional development within the theme of Organized Advocacy.

The Professional Development Committee is soliciting proposals for 60-minute concurrent sessions. While submissions relevant to this year's conference theme of Organized Advocacy are especially encouraged, any topic of potential interest to your professional colleagues is welcomed. The goal of the annual conference is to provide attendees with informative and engaging sessions focused on, but not limited to:

  • Innovative Programming
  • Financial Literacy (including financial aid, planning, identifying opportunities, etc.)
  • Alumni Connections
  • New to TRIO
  • State and Local Advocacy
  • Assessments and Evaluations
  • Tutoring and/or Mentoring Programs and Partnerships
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (Educational Access and Policy)
  • Study Abroad Opportunities
  • Personal and Professional Branding

The deadline for proposal submissions is Monday, March 27, 2017. Notifications will be disseminated no later than Monday, April 10, 2017.

UPDATE AS OF THE MARCH 24 INDIANA TRIO BOARD MEETING: Presenters are encouraged to register for the conference, but conference registration is not required by those proposals accepted for presentation.
