This state conference is a three-day gathering of educational opportunity program professionals from the state of Indiana who come together to learn, network, and be inspired.

POST-CONFERENCE

As the grant-writing season for Student Support Services approaches, Indiana TRIO has invited experienced TRIO professional Lucy Jones to host a grant-writing workshop post-conference. This workshop will run from 1:00pm - 5:00pm on Wednesday, May 1 and will reconvene again from 8:30am - 12pm (noon) on Thursday, May 2. The cost for the grant-writing workshop is $199; register today as spots are limited! PROGRAM FUNDS CANNOT BE USED TO PAY FOR THE GRANT-WRITING WORKSHOP.

Ms. Jones is former Coordinator of TRIO Programs at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain in Mena, Arkansas, and the 2005-06 Chair for the Council for Opportunity in Education Board of Directors. She has been working in TRIO programs for thirty years and she holds a B.S. and M.S. in Education from Henderson State University and has certifications in English and Adult Education, with post-graduate work in Postsecondary Administration. Lucy has also served as President-Elect, President, and Past President of SWASAP and AASAP, regional and state TRIO associations. In addition, she has conducted workshops on legislative and regulatory topics and TRIO proposal writing seminars at national, regional, and state conferences. Lucy has served as a faculty member for UNLV, UCO, and COE training grants. Lucy is a past recipient of the Outstanding Staff Member Award from the Arkansas Association of Two-Year Colleges.
